New, never installed. Stirafoam packing for top part of changer in box thrown away. Other than that just as purchased. Part of a stereo system I never got a chance to install. I believe unit can be mounted in about any position in the trunk or where ever you choose. Purchased for $429 and still have receipt. When I say it has never been installed, I mean NEVER installed, no BS. My ebay rating speaks for itself.
